about

attention as resistance

working through systems of documentation, care, and control across domestic, legal, and environmental contexts. my work explores rural landscapes, misreading, and the body’s unruly ways of knowing.

systems are built to make sense of the world: legal language, medical charts, environmental reports, field observations, and institutional procedures. i am interested in what those systems make visible—and what exceeds them.

i work visually and think through materials, allowing process and revision to become part of the discovery: less refinement than excavation.

I live with my family in the Pacific Northwest.
